Toys "R" Us Partnership Continues

Toys “R” Us and the Toys “R” Us Children's Fund's nationwide fundraising campaign to benefit Autism Speaks continues through May 4. Donations are accepted at all Toys “R” Us stores and online. Read more. Also, Toys "R" Us and the National Lekotek Center have created "Ten Toys That Speak to Autism," a compilation of specially selected toys that promote language, creativity and social skills that aid a child with autism's development. The list features toys that children with autism can play with alongside their siblings and friends and is currently available in the stores and online at www.Toysrus.com/AutismSpeaks.

LA Celebrity Golf Challenge Draws Stars

Dollar Donation Days Start at Modell's
|
|
|
For the third straight year, Modell's Sporting Goods has launched a "Dollar Donation Days" campaign to raise money for autism. Through April 28, customers at all of Modell's 135 store locations throughout the Northeast will be able to purchase one-dollar Autism Speaks puzzle pieces at check-out, with proceeds being directed towards autism research. "A World Where...", a new video from Autism Speaks, is now available for viewing on Whatkindworddoyouwant.com, a fundraising web site launched by John Ondrasik, the lead singer of pop group Five for Fighting. Each time a video is viewed or uploaded, the designated charity receives a donation. Read more
